Is SickPet.ai a substitute for a veterinarian?+
No. SickPet.ai is an AI-assisted triage and decision-support tool. It helps you judge how urgent a situation is and what to do next, but it cannot diagnose, prescribe, or replace a hands-on examination by a licensed veterinarian. For anything serious, always contact a vet.
What species does SickPet.ai support?+
Dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, reptiles, horses, and other pets. The AI adjusts its urgency interpretation based on species-specific physiology, for example, a rabbit not eating for 12 hours is treated as an emergency, while a dog skipping one meal often is not.
How accurate is the AI pet symptom checker?+
Every triage protocol and urgency classification is reviewed by a licensed veterinarian before it is deployed, and the system errs on the side of caution, when it cannot tell whether a situation is safe or dangerous, it recommends contacting a vet.
